Soldner-X: Himmelssturmer, for the Nintendo Switch, was developed by SideQuest Studios and published by eastasiasoft.  The game originally launched on the PlayStation 3 back in late 2008, and the PS Vita in March of 2015, marking it as an early downloadable title for those consoles. 

At its core, it's a fast-paced side-scrolling shoot 'em up where players pilot a high-tech fighter through waves of enemies in a futuristic setting, blending intense action with strategic weapon management to survive escalating challenges. The plot revolves around a distant future where a mysterious alien virus, known as the D'aarg, threatens humanity by corrupting both machinery and living organisms, turning them into hostile hybrids on a planet called Conceyta.
