Recently I stumbled upon a hiphop song, and artist/musician that I just could not forget. The lyrics, and the chorus are stuck in my head even to this day. The song of course is none other than "Robot's Can't Drink". The song in question originally debuted as a "Freestyle Friday #53" tribute song on e-dubble's (the artist) youtube channel as well as a free downloadable song on his own website. I initially found out about "Robots Can't Dance" after watching a "Straight Up Knives" MW3 montage as most of you have probably also done. After doing some research I found that e-dubble has an impressive amount of tracks available, and that each song has lyrics that would put a lot of rappers out there to shame. Aside from offering free mp3 downloads on his site, e-dubble also is trying to keep his hard work afloat by offering songs on familiar mobile media platforms such as Napster, and itunes.
This Philadelphia native has grown up enjoying, and learning from a wide array of musicians including Snoop Doggy Dogg, Bruce Springsteen, and even Nirvana. He has spent quality time perfecting his music, and even spent time mixing tapes with a band he met in a Baltimore college. He has experimented with various music genres including country, rock, and rap as he searched for something that suited him best. There is no doubt that e-dubble is likely one of the most diverse musicians that you'll find in the world today. The fact that he is willing to share his works for free goes to show that he has faith in his talent, and work. He will no doubt become well recognized for what he does as a result of this self promotion. I myself can attest to his spectacular talent. His song "Robot's Can't Drink" will no doubt bring undivided attention to his already popular music.
I'm going to provide you guys & gals with a link to his website, so that you can understand how talented this musician really is. The website offers a detailed history on e-dubble's extensive career as well as some free downloadable tracks, and tracks that can be bought for your ipod or mobile music device. Be sure to check out the song "Robot's Can't Drink" first though as it is now a fan favorite. Please keep in mind that the songs provided by e-dubble are mature in nature, and feature adult language. The songs aren't meant for the younger audiences, and especially not children.
