The Daily Grind
I want to tell you good morning, but would you even care?
Would you appreciate the kind greeting, and know that I was there?
We get so lost in the daily drama for which no one really cares.
We scroll longingly through social media as we all gawk and stare.
Through heated debate, and quarrel we never find our peace of mind.
And still we sojourn onward through the grueling daily grind.
