Blog Update & Black Ops 2 Custom Emblems

There's been a lot going on in my life this first month of 2013. I've been busy tending to my adult blog, and getting business in order on that side of the spectrum in hopes that it might become as popular as my gaming blog. So far I've secured a lot more contributors, and have gained access to some new adult entertainment options for my blog. I know that has nothing to do with "OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno" directly, but it partially explains the reason why content has been so lacking here. As far as game reviews are concerned I have received some requests from XBLIG devs, but have heard nothing from the higher up devs leaving me to almost abandon my hopes for the future of this blog. My fear is that small time gaming journalists such as myself are not going to be able to get the XBLA, and retail games like we previously were able to in 2012. This can likely be attributed to the boom in gaming blog sites, and to the fact that a lot of the "so called" blog journalists out there were not being legit with their requests. In other words they wanted something for nothing, and devs fell for it. It gives honest, hard working journalists such as myself a bad name, and in turn causes developers not to trust us.

With all that said though all hope is not lost, yet. I'm still going to hang in there, and try to provide gaming articles, and reviews when I can. This may be of only XBLIG titles for a while, but at least it will be something new for you to read. Speaking of that, I want to thank all of you for your continued support. The fact that you guys & gals continue to stop by, and check for new content means that I was actually doing something right. That kind of support means the world to me. You guys & girls mean the world to me. I hope that I never let you down as a reviewer, and that you can trust my judgement when it comes to the critiques I give games, and certain topics relating to the gaming industry.

Now that that's out of the way let us get to the second point of this article. The first Black Ops 2 custom emblem article that I posted here has maintained a miraculous top spot on my "Top 3" articles section of this blog for quite some time now. I know how popular Black Ops 2 is to some, and I love sharing my artistic creations from any video game, so I thought I'd share some more of my custom emblems with you. The emblems you'll see below are from my PS3 Black Ops 2 account, and are quite impressive in their own unique way. I hope you enjoy the look at these artistic, and expressive emblems. I also hope that they inspire you to do great artistic things with other custom video game creation options out there :

This is a humorous, and sarcastic custom emblem that explains exactly how I feel about most of the CoD (Call of Duty) franchise. For those of you who don't know what "SSDD" means it translates as "Same Sh*t Different Day". That is exactly what CoD has become. The online experience of Black Ops 2 is crap, and the game itself is nothing but a broken copycat version of the worst of the CoD series. In the photo you'll notice a big pile of crap on top of the "SSDD" sign. This in itself reflects the saying "SSDD". You'll also notice that I added a fly buzzing around for added humor value.

You'll find quite a lot of satanic, and cult-like emblems among the online Black Ops 2 community. This is my rendition of such an emblem. The devilish nature of it also reflects my PSN ID, somewhat. It took me a while to make this emblem, but I finally got it just the way I wanted it. The original version featured a red skinned Devil with a glowing green background. I switched to this color scheme to give it a more menacing appearance. The previous version looked too cartoonish in my opinion. If you see this emblem in-game the background actually looks like its glowing.
