Spartacus Legends (PSN): "THIS IS STILL NOT SPAAARTA-CUSS!!!"

This morning I started up my PS3 in hopes of partaking of the Double XP offerings in Black Ops 2. Little did I know that I'd receive a message, and a gift from the developers of "Spartacus Legends". The message basically told me that the game had been fixed, and in order to gain access to this newly patched version I'd have to delete my old download, and download the game again. Also attached to the message was a single use code for 50 free gold coins for use in the game! At this point I was thinking to myself "Why not?". I decided to take them on their word, do as they said, and enjoy my $4.99 worth of gold coins. The download took long as it usually does. You can't expect less of a wait from a game with a 2,000+ MB file size, unfortunately. Upon downloading, and installing it I got into the game hoping to the Greek Gods that the developer had actually fixed the issues I found wrong with the game. To my utter dismay I once again found myself cussing out the game in rage though.

Spartacus Legends on the "Playstation 3" continues to suffer from game breaking bugs, freezing issues, and an overall flawed online/offline experience. The AI is actually worse than it was before. With each strike landed by an AI gladiator the game lags making it impossible to consistently block against a relentless assault, or even dodge with a roll/parry. I lost a top tier gladiator "PERFECTUS-ly" to the first boss/Legend of the first area. I honestly could not do anything to prevent it either. The "PERFECTUS" victory at the hands of OENOMAUS ended my gladiator's career temporarily with a leg dismemberment. It was brutally disheartening to watch, but thankfully I was able to revive my mortally wounded arena warrior from the grips of Hades himself via an in-game option.

After losing to OENOMAUS many times (too many times to be precise) I decided to see what the online was like, and if it was any better than what the offline had to offer. Surprisingly the first bout went quite smoothly. There was no lag at all, and I ended up winning a nearly "PERFECTUS" victory with my dual dagger wielding gladiator. At this point I was thinking that the developer may have actually fixed the online. Sadly the next round of mortal combat proved otherwise. I ended up getting into a match with a lagswitching spoiled sport. He had obviously seen that I was going to be victorious regardless of his antics, and lagswitched the game so bad that I lost connection with him. This of course sent me sailing back to the main menu screen. Upon trying to get back into the game I encountered the same game freeze situation that I spoke of earlier.

Honestly Starz, and Kung Fu Factory! Why can't you fix the game properly!? I explained in detail what is wrong with the game yet even with the supposed fix the game is still broken on the PS3. I do appreciate your efforts to try to make things right with a patch, and the 50 gold coins gift, but the game is still far from being fixed. Please continue with the fixes. By all means spend some quality time pinpointing the problems at hand. I believe the game could be great, I honestly do, but without proper solutions to the bugs, and online tomfoolery the game is doomed to fail (at least on the PS3).
