Let's Talk - "INJUSTICE & INJUSTICE Ultimate Ed."

From it's hyped beginning to it's current state "Injustice: Gods Among Us" has attracted a lot of attention. Some of that attention was good, and some bad. I'll be the first to admit I was psyched about it's initial release. Not only did I go out, and buy the Xbox 360 version of the game, and a season pass, but I also did the same for the PS3 version of the game. After getting into it for a while though I began to notice some rather bothersome things happening to the offline, and online offerings contained within. Things like missing DLC characters, and encounters with lagswitchers/hackers became a commonplace event. The truly sad thing about all this is that the game contiues to go down it's downward spiral with no signs of getting better. The online multiplayer is rubbish, and new glitches/bugs are still happening. It seems that Netherrealm Studios would have had their sh*t together by now, but that is most definitely not the case.

To me it truly appears as if Netherrealm is totally ignoring the outcries of the games' honest fans, and are simply looking to make a profit with all the DLC, and future releases relating to the core experience. The fact that they have already announced an upcoming release of an "Ultimate Edition" on multiple platforms is a blunt slap in the face to gamers. If they can't right their wrongs with the current game what in hell makes you think the new offerings are going to be any better in this newly offered version? Ask yourself that.

Today after downloading the free "Arrow" skin I ran into an even more complex bug within the game than I have encountered before. I about panicked when I saw my Lobo was missing from the practice area of the game. For some odd reason though my favorite bounty hunter badass was still available for use online. WTF Netherrealm!? Not only that, but yesterday I had to restart the game from the dashboard after initially starting it up to get my DLC characters to be selectable again. While this particular glitch has been an ongoing issue for me for quite some time it seemed less as bad of a bug as the one where Lobo had gone missing. Aside from the constantly missing DLC, and the repetitive update requests that occur when you try to play online (regardless of whether you already downloaded the updates) the game's main suffering point remains to be the online encounters with hackers/lagswitchers.

To put it into proper perspective I think that at least 90% of Injustice's online players are either lagswitching, or hacking the game in some way. While that percentage might seem exaggerated to you it is not that far from being the truth, I promise you. I guarantee you that if you were to go online with the game right now you would more than likely run into several lagswitchers/hackers in a row. I sh*t you not. Why someone would put themselves through the trouble of buying the game only to experience broken gameplay, and repeated hacking/lagswitching is beyond me. That is the reason I bring all of this to your attention. I honestly do not think the Ultimate Edition of the game is going to be any better of an experience than this current version. As such I beg you to not go waste your money on this broken ass game. Putting more money into Netherrealm's pockets is not going to fix the issues at hand. Until Netherrealm Studios can prove that they are willing to patch the current version to perfection, and deal with the leaderboard leaders who have unjustly achieved top rank then I'd strongly suggest staying the hell away from this game. That is where I stand.

As always you can take my word as is, or disagree. I'm just here trying to save you from a bad experience. I for one could care less if Netherrealm Studios included diamond camo skins (CoD Joke xD) for all the characters in the game. The fact of the matter is that the game would still be sh*t. If you want a new fighting game experience wait for the new BlazBlue, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R, or even AquaPazza. Forget the sh*t that is INJUSTICE. It would only serve as an "Injustice" to you to spend your hard earned cash on a purchase of this game.
