Blog Update 11/14/2013

It is well into the week, and you've likely noticed the absence of any new reviews, or articles. You can rest assured that there is more blog oriented content on it's way though. Currently I'm enjoying my playthrough of a yet to be released retail game, and will be spending part of the day today testing out the online with the development staff and some journalist friends. The review of the game will be posted soon enough (once the embargo is lifted). That will definitely be something worthy of your attention, I think. On a side note I've also been reaching out to various sources for new things to feature on this blog. One of those hopeful prospects includes toy reviews compliments of "Diamond Select". If you don't know of 'Diamond Select' they are one of the more well known toy makers when it comes to comic book, video game, and film related toys. As of now it looks like the Diamond Select PR is willing to give me a chance, and assuming he does you can bet your bottom dollar I'll go out of my way to impress him with my journalism skills, and knowledge of the toy industry.

As a toy enthusiast I've personally been collecting toys since my younger days, way back when I didn't realize the value that they held. As kids we often times beat the hell out of our G.I.JOEs, or other toys that we get not realizing that one day they'll be worth more, and having been such a kid I'm also guilty of such. Once I grew past that childish stage though I, like many others became more serious of a collector, and chose to not even open what I bought. Over the years I spent lots of money, and time seeking out the exclusives, and variants in hopes of scoring big. With this gained personal knowledge of toys that I've amassed over the years I hope to bring to you, and share with you my love for the industry as well as the collectibles that spawn from it. I've already made plans to build a proper photo rig to capture images of the figures/toys, so that you'll be better able to understand what I'm saying to you in each toy review. Should I prove my worth to 'Diamond Select' the toy reviews will most definitely become a signature feature here at "OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno". It has always been my goal to offer something different in the way of reviews to my readers, and I think the toy industry is the perfect way to go about it. Perhaps in the near future more toy makers will learn of my blog, and I'll be able to share even more new products with you.

Well, I think that about wraps things up for this update. As I said earlier on, there are more reviews on their way. Perhaps there will even be some next-gen stuff for you to read by years end. Remember to keep it Awesome, and to keep your outlook positive. Game On My Excellent Friends!!!
