Diamond Select Toys & OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno

When it comes to reviews I'm a highly unorthodox journalist. I love to cover topics, and products that interest me as well as those things that reflect the kind of hobbyist that I am. This year I've introduced certain things to you such as the art of the very gifted UK artist Danielle Tunstall as well as reviews on the MTG trading card game. I'm a man of diverse tastes, and as such I love to share these topics of interest with you as often as I can. That is one reason I decided to start contacting companies earlier on in order to setup business prospects for 2014. I believe in being innovative, and bringing to the forefront reviews, and articles on things that dedicated gaming journalists wouldn't touch. Among the companies I've contacted in hopes of securing a partnership of sorts was the Diamond Comics Distributor's sister company "Diamond Select Toys". Unknown to even some of my earlier followers I've been trying to get on board with toy companies to do reviews on these products for quite some time. While this has been a failed attempt for the most part Diamond Select has given me a proper chance to prove my worth as a toy reviewer. For that I'm more than thankful.

Very soon I'll be delivering to you my reviews on some of Diamond Select's, and Art Asylum's signature Mini-Mates toys. It is one of the more collectible series that has incorporated, and continues to incorporate many different comic book, and video game themes. While I've never collected these sorts of toys I have grown up as a faithful collector of various action figure series. As such I know all about exclusives, limited editions, variants, and the everyday selections that toy retailers have offered over the years. In fact I still have most of my toy collection boxed up in my closet waiting to be passed down to my next of kin. When it comes to the Mini-Mates toys I can tell you now that they rank among the more affordable, and highly sought after collectibles. They also look pretty darn nice as well. Of course you'll have to wait on my reviews to find out more juicy details though. I don't want to go, and spoil everything just yet.

Going into this business venture of sorts I hope to impress Diamond Select Toys with my toy industry knowledge, and hopefully win over their support so that I can continue to bring reviews of their latest products to your attention. Diamond Select is definitely one of the more prestigious toy companies when it comes to replicating comic book superheroes, and movie themed characters. In the past they've produced toys based on such comic books as "Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose (one of my personal favorites)" as well as infamous movie villains such as Hannibal from "Silence of the Lambs". They definitely dare to venture into the more mature market with some of their statues, and collectibles which is something that very few toy companies will do these days. For that reason alone I'm glad to have the privilege to prove myself to Diamond Select. I'd love more than anything to continue covering their various products in the coming year/s.

Be sure to let me know if my reviews live up to your expectations, and if you'd love to learn more about Diamond Select products from me in the future. Your feedback is more than welcome here. My goal as always is to keep you up to date on the industry's latest offerings, and I hope this blog has been a helpful source in that respect for the 3+ years it has been live. The year 2013 is about to come to an end, and I've greatly enjoyed being able to share my thoughts, and opinions on the products I have reviewed. I hope that you have also enjoyed the journey for what it was, and that you continue to come here for more info on the products that you are curious about. Best of wishes from myself, and 'The Inferno'! Great things are on their way. I hope your Christmas holiday is an exceptional one, and that your gifts are plenty! Until next time I bid you farewell.

Your Last Samurai,
Brad (OtakuDante)
