Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | Season 4 Battle Pass ...

Season four of Call of Duty's battle pass is well underway. We are several days in beyond a short delay that was caused by certain world events. The new battle pass saw the addition of Price as an unlockable/playable character, and the new unlockable Mil-Sim operator character skins for both factions. Along with that is the usual assortment of single use XP boosts, freebies for freeloaders, and paid for exclusive content. As per usual both the paying, and non-paying players will get the chance to unlock some worthwhile items though the paying players might feel a little short changed by the fact that some of the free items seem like premium quality goods, pass-wise. For ten dollars, or 1,100 COD points that base fee may or may not be worth it for you depending upon what you feel about what you get ...

Price, exclusive weapon blueprints, and exclusive baubles like the keychains, banners, and emblems gives the paying player a good bit of content for the asking price. Along with the new, and returning vehicle skins, a new watch, and plenty of COD points to unlock you will definitely have a lot to grind for. That aside you'll find those who don't pay can also score some sweet unlocks such as 300 COD points, banners, keychains, emblems, sprays, and even legendary weapon blueprints. That, and the two free weapons.

As a player who knows what it is to invest money into such an experience I find that I'm still on the fence about what is offered for paying players. I feel there should be some bundle-like weapon blueprints made available to offset the fact that the two new weapons for the season are free. I feel that a lot of the blueprints that you can earn pale in comparison to the ones you can buy separately from bundles. I'm not saying they're garbage or anything, but what is offered through the pass blueprint-wise is definitely distinct in quality from what is offered in the higher priced bundles located elsewhere in the COD store. Going forward I think COD's developers should really consider spicing things up with some blueprints that are exclusive to the buyers of the pass which feature a more effect themed or physically altering weapon skin. That's my thoughts on the matter.

For now I'll be grinding through the pass as I did last season. As far as tips go be sure to take advantage of any double XP days. There is actually one happening this weekend!!!
