A while back Antstream Arcade was released on the PSN storefront. It was a monthly/yearly subscription service centered around the retro gaming scene. For $20 per subscription period you were given weekly updated playlists of retro games complete with community driven leaderboards, and competitions. From what I saw it included some more obscure retro titles as well as some of the more well known. In gist it was a dashboard accessed live service with a growing library of games to experience for a reasonable annual fee.
While I was personally unable to do a hands on playthrough of the service I can tell you only what I've heard about it. The paragraph above is all I know. You have to understand that my initial attempt at redeeming my review code for this service was met with an error demanding I pay for the service I should have had access to as a reviewer. Later on another code was sent, and it could not be redeemed. This problem was never resolved for me, and thus I cannot give details beyond the basics of the service. The only only reason this article is even going up is there's an unwavering strike against my five star review reputation for not having delivered a review. I made it clear I cannot review what I cannot play.
Those of you still interested in potentially adopting Antstream as a subscription service there are other reviewers out there who have had access, and can give you the lowdown on it's inner workings as well as updates on newly released titles. I hope you seek them out, and give them a little bit of love & support for their efforts in committing to a full breakdown.
