As the year nears it's end there's a lot of uncertainty in the air. Rumors of wars, an alien invasion, and the potential for our freedoms to be stripped away remain as possibilities. We do not know for certain that we will see tomorrow, and that is why we should always strive to accomplish, in the present, what needs to be done. We need not worry about past mistakes, or be fearful of our futures. Those things our out of reach in the here and now. Do what you can with what you have.
Moreover we need to be kinder, and more forgiving of those we cross paths with in life. We are all facing a battle that tugs at our very souls. Something we need to be mindful of when interacting with others on social media. It is a time of year when suicide rates are higher, and people are more likely to be depressed. I for one lost my mother on Christmas night of 2022 after a hard battle with cancer, and Christmas since then hasn't been the joyful occasion it once was. The closer it gets to that day the more I struggle. Just as so many others do for various other reasons. Always check in on your friends and family. Make sure they are doing alright.
Going forward I hope to continue bringing to you the latest game reviews throughout 2025. Come rapture or the end of the world this may not happen though. This world, is teetering on the brink of societal collapse, and it's only a matter of time before all the wrongs of the world impact us on an inescapable scale. The more that time passes the more the luxuries like video games become less important. I imagine at some point this will turn into a fight for survival. I'm hoping everyone gets mentally, spiritually, and physically prepared in the meantime, and that you prioritize things that will help in these areas. Do less consuming, and less escapism. Do some soul searching, and right some wrongs in your life.
We have so precious little time in this thing we call life, and for some that time is cut even shorter. We none know when our time to go may come, and it is why we must strive to do our best, and be our best each and every day. Living the present to it's fullest so that it will be the gift that keeps on giving long after we are gone.
In closing ... I hope you have a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year! I hope your holiday, whatever you celebrate, brings you closer to loved ones, and helps to mend broken relationships. I hope you find peace, and good cheer this December as 2024 comes to a close! Be sure not to over indulge in the New Years festivities as well, and if you choose to drink have a designated driver to take you home. I hope you meet 2025 with the intent to make the most of it, and to put all worries aside. Live, love, and be happy my friends!
